Accessing MyNCSC
Why should I use MyNCSC?
MyNCSC provides a common access portal and a number of common set up functions for using DNS Check, Early Warning, and Vulnerability Monitoring Service (VMS) - from GDS services.
Through the use of MyNCSC, users of integrated ACD services benefit from:
- A Unified User Interface for accessing multiple services. This covers a range of user activity from Sign In, through identification of services their organisation is eligible to use, to viewing a consolidated set of findings.
- The need to perform common service configuration operations only once, for example registration of digital assets.
- Collaborative working within organisations, and also Teams, when managing digital assets and viewing findings.
Setting up 2-step verification (2SV)
Once you are registered for MyNCSC and are able to access the MyNCSC platform, we recommend that you follow the instructions to set up 2SV, also known as two-factor authentication (2FA). You are able to set this up in your Account settings area located on the top right corner of your screen. This will enhance the security of your account, keeping your organisation better protected in accordance with the NCSC published guidance.
