Principles Based Assurance is the NCSC’s holistic new approach to technology assurance. Built upon methods used in the safety industry, it focuses on risk outcomes, rather than discrete compliance.
Cyber Resilience Testing Facilities (CRTFs) will provide this assurance through a national ecosystem of NCSC assured labs.
The output report received by vendors will provide information on the resilience of a product, measured against the principles outlined in the Cyber Resilience Testing APC.
