Monday 5th January 2026 The CAS-S Scheme is now closed. The NCSC has launched the new Sanitisation Service Assurance delivered by the Cyber Resilience Test Facilities (CRTF). For information on CRTFs see: https://ncsc.gov.uk/schemes/cyber-resilience-test-facilities/introduction Any CAS-S evaluations begun before 5th January 2026 will complete evaluation under the CAS-S Scheme. Any CAS-S certificates issued under the scheme will remain valid, and be listed on the NCSC Website, until they expire. The Sanitisation Service Assurance Standard, available from the Scheme documents page, is unchanged. |
GRC Solutions Ltd is a company approved by NCSC to perform Commodity Assurance Services (CAS) assessments.
CAS assessments are conducted against a set of requirements which define what a good service looks like for each of the Commodity Service types. Currently, service requirements exist for Sanitisation of storage media.
All CAS Service Providers are required to have a UK sales presence.
Service Providers should contact a CAS Company to confirm the suitability of their service for assessment against the relevant service requirement. Service Providers contract directly with the CAS Company.
