Community and events

The NCSC is committed to supporting i100 participants to build their professional networks across our cyber security community. We run regular community events including networking sessions for i100s participants, alongside virtual talks from NCSC colleagues and seniors, and interactive forums to draw on i100 to tackle challenges facing NCSC’s mission.
The NCSC i100 team produces a detailed monthly newsletter for all scheme members, including: highlights of i100 impact; exclusive articles and interviews from NCSC seniors; upcoming learning & development opportunities; innovative mission and research projects where i100s can get involved, and more.
Community days
Twice a year, we invite all members of the i100 scheme to attend a full-day community event at an NCSC site for a packed agenda of briefings, networking, and interactive discussion. The most recent event was on 26 January 2025 at our Cheltenham offices, and included talks from NCSC’s senior leadership including our Chief Executive Officer – about his priorities for the year ahead, the most pressing challenges on his mind, and the opportunities he sees to advance national cyber security outcomes through deepening industry to government partnerships.
Lunchtime Learn & Connect
Every other month we gather our i100 members in-person and online for a lunchtime briefing and Q&A with a different leader within NCSC. These hybrid sessions are designed to provide i100s with the opportunity to learn more about live NCSC/GCHQ workstreams and how they can contribute, make new connections within the i100 community and wider agency, and to connect in-person to share valuable information across sectors.
Industry 100 Advisory Group
We have an Industry 100 Advisory Group made up of a small number of i100 secondees, whose diverse mix allows them to represent voices from all corners of the scheme. It aims to maximise the benefits of i100 for both the NCSC and industry participants, and to support how the scheme develops.
Advisory group members are rotated to ensure fresh ideas and approaches, and so that the full range of sectors and organisations are included.
Upcoming events
CYBERUK 2025: 6-8 May in Manchester. Many of our i100 scheme members will be attending the UK government’s flagship cyber security conference CYBERUK in-person this year. Our i100 team will have a stall in the ‘NCSC Zone’ to promote the scheme and discuss our work with past, present and potential future members.
