Governing boards and senior leaders
The Education sector also needs to review their cyber security risks and improve their cyber resilience. The Board Toolkit helps organisations to adopt a methodical and proactive approach to cyber security, and outlines basic safeguards that can greatly reduce the likelihood - and impact - of cyber attacks.

Reporting a school cyber incident
Reporting cyber incidents can be made to Report Fraud or, if you're in Scotland, then reports should be made to Police Scotland. If the incident involved a data breach we would advise reporting it to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under GDPR guidelines.
