Certification will only be valid while clearances and other conditions of the CAS-S scheme Service Requirement continue to be met.

Due to the scope of the CAS scheme, the certification of this Service does not cover the destruction and disposal of cryptographic items, as defined within IS4 - Protective Security Controls for the Handling and Management of Cryptographic Items.

Certification Scope

The service scope covers Secure Sanitisation and Destruction of electronic storage media (ESM), processing:

• Memory chips (such as SRAM and DRAM)
• Mobile SIM and Smart cards
• Hard disk drives (HDDs)
• Solid state drives (SSD)
• Magnetic media (such as tape and floppy disks)
• Optical disks (such as CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays)

Non-destructive service for media intended for re-use at the OFFICIAL classification tier.

• Laptops
• Personal Computers

This covers a mobile and fixed site (The Old Reebok, Southgate, White Lund Industrial Estate, Morecambe, LA3 3PB) and a mobile service, both of which can process data up to OFFICIAL (Including material marked as OFFICIAL SENSITIVE)
