I've lost money, or seen something suspicious when shopping online.

What actions should I take?
- Report it to your bank immediately. Always contact your bank using official websites or phone numbers.
- If you use online banking, cancel your card(s).
- If you've received a suspicious call or message pretending to be your bank, don't use the contact details provided, or click on any links you are sent. Find out how to report suspicious messages.
If you’ve lost money, tell your bank straight away and report it to Report Fraud or in Scotland, contact Police Scotland.
- If you have seen a website you think is a scam, report it to the NCSC. Don't click on any suspicious links. If it’s an email, you can forward it to [email protected].
