Head of the National Crypt Key Centre, NCSC
Sarah is the Head of the National Crypt Key Centre: the strategic capability that secures the UK’s information across defence, government and international operations.
As a senior leader in cyber security, Sarah has held a number of NCSC leadership roles, including responsibility for the Economy and Society Resilience team, leading on raising cyber resilience at scale across the UK and reducing the volume of attacks that reach UK citizens and businesses.
Sarah has worked in cyber security since 2010, following a range of roles across Whitehall. She established and built the Economy and Society team from the creation of the NCSC and has previously acted as NCSC Chief Operating Officer, led the Centre’s pandemic cyber response and its work on Critical National Infrastructure resilience.
