Darragh McElroy
Director of Communications, NCSC
Darragh leads communications for GCHQ’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), bringing over twenty years of experience in strategy and communications roles, the majority within the national intelligence and security sector.
Before joining the NCSC, Darragh served as Deputy Director of Communications both at the Northern Ireland Office and in the Prime Minister’s National Security Communications Team (NSCT).
Earlier in his career he worked for the Ministry of Defence, where he served two tours in Afghanistan - Helmand (2009–2010) and Kabul (2014–2015). His final MOD posting took him to NATO in Rome.
