Announcing IASME as our second Delivery Partner for Cyber Incident Response Level 2

In mid-June, we announced an expansion of our assured Cyber Incident Response Scheme, with a new Level 2 introduced, to provide high quality incident response services to a wider range and larger number of victim organisations.

At the time, CREST was our only Delivery Partner, but today I am delighted to welcome IASME as our second Delivery Partner.

In some respects, there is no difference between our Delivery Partners – both will adhere to the NCSC’s strict standards for assessing technical and organisational capability. However, the model each is using for the processes of onboarding, ongoing management and off-boarding of suppliers is different. Having two Delivery Partners means potential providers have two routes to apply for membership of the CIR Level 2 scheme and can choose whichever is best for their business.

Both IASME and CREST are now accepting enquiries and applications from providers offering Cyber Incident Response services within the UK.

You can find the scheme standards on the NCSC website. The fee structures and details of how to apply are available on CREST’s and IASME’s websites.

As always, we are actively working to ensure there are no artificial barriers to entry to any of our schemes. So, if you spot something which you think unfairly prevents you from applying, please let us, or one of our Delivery Partners, know.
