With end users at Renfrewshire Council becoming accustomed the nuances of ‘legacy’ authentication, the IT staff set about removing some of the more irritating pain points. By surveying users and finding out particularly  troublesome instances of unnecessary authentication, the IT team’s innovative solutions made significant improvements to the end-user experience, without great expenditure.
